One of the biggest artists of the 20th century awaits you at LaM in Lille.
An extraordinary Alberto Giaometto retrospective gathers 150
of the artist's works through a never-before-seen visit to the legends
of modern art's history.
Take a fresh look at this artist, whose slender and delicate sculptures
are rarely seen in Northern Europe's museums.
Remarkably restored, Old Lille seduces with its flamboyant architecture. Its soft and bold coloured facades highlight the exuberance and abundance of the area.
This 17th century architectural diversity encourages people to stroll, and its with head up that one must walk in order to appreciate the combination of bricks and stones.
The exterior and the facade alone will impress you with its superb
19th century construction! Once inside, allow yourself to be carried away and travel
among the various collections, paintings and sculptures that the museum has to offer.

The Old Stock Exchange, built from 1652 to 1653 by Julien Destrée, is inarguably the most beautiful monument in the city. In its courtyard, it welcomes booksellers and during summer, tango demonstrations.
